AS Film Studies Induction Task 2016

As research, writing and a general interest in film production are such essential qualities to possess in order to achieve success on the AS Film Studies course you are required to complete the tasks included below.

All work should be typed (in an academic format) and may include any relevant visual material as supporting evidence.

Tasks:

1. Discuss how ‘Deadpool’ became a box-office success and how a film’s success is measured. Research and debate in a 500 word essay why this film achieved success – (as a start refer to)  http://www.cinemablend.com & https://www.theguardian.com - refer to at least 5 reasons.

2. What was your favourite film this summer 2016? Write a 500 word ‘personal response’ which analyses key aspects of the film and also discusses why you enjoyed it.
